At about 3:00 p.m., February 10, nearly a thousand migrant workers of Guangbo Group who just attended the company's year-end commendation congress, took the luxury buses with Chinese New Year food, joy and leaders' wishes, on the way to reunite with family members. The practice of Guangbo sending employees home in charted buses attracted media attention.
It is understood that Zhejiang Guangbo Group Company now has about 7000 employees. Most of them are from Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan and Shandong. Difficult to buy a ticket home for Spring Festival is really a headache for them. To solve employees' difficulty, this year Guangbo Group charted 15 luxury buses with over 50 seats each, directly sending the employees who live in counties and villages home. For those who went home by themselves, proportionally reimburse round-trip tickets according to the length of service.
Xiao Wang, a boy from Henan, an operator of Guangbo Group stationery industry company, told the reporter happily, "I worked in Shenzhen before. It's difficult to buy a ticket home during Spring Festival. Sometimes I couldn't get a ticket even if waiting in line for several days. Such worry doesn't exist in Guangbo."
Besides, Guangbo Group will arrange employees who won't go home to eat dinner together, organize various recreational activities, let migrant workers have a cozy feeling of home in another place.
