March 5 is the 49th anniversary of learning from Comrade Lei Feng inscribed by Chairman Mao. To extensively carry out learning from Lei Feng activity and voluntary service activities, popularize patriotic, professional, integrity and friendly basic moral code, promote learning from Lei Feng normalization, institutionalization and projecting, Guangbo Group Youth League Committee launched "learning from Lei Feng and fostering new practices" activity, and developed various series of activities. More than 60 league member youth volunteers divided into three teams, going to Lizhou community, Shiqi nursing home and Luozi square, extensively and intensively carried out youth volunteers activity.
"learning from Lei Feng" doesn't talk only, start from small matters around. Such as in Lizhou community, league member youth have a clear division of labor, act quickly, with enthusiasm and responsibility, clean public utilities, and pick up white trash from the greenbelt in the community. In the course of working, everyone is terribly busy working, with sweat on their foreheads. Passers-by all smiled and prasied them.
In Luozi square, youth volunteers disseminate to the passers-by the knowledge on traffic safety, by means of putting propaganda panel, handing out traffic safety knowledge and voluntary persuading. Popularize road traffic laws and regulations to citizens, advocate civilized behavior with own action, advertise civilized traffic and say goodbye to traffic bad habits, guide citizens to improve moral accomplishment.
With this activity as a carrier, Group Youth League Committee interpret volunteerism of dedication, fraternity, mutual-aid and progress with practical action, contribute youth and strength to brand-new situation of creating various work of the Group.
